About
While I was born in Christchurch, I (read: my parents) subsequently moved to Taupo (which is too small for the map, right) and then Hamilton. When I began studying in 2005, I moved back (ironies of ironies) to Christchurch.
In 2004, I went on exchange to Germany. The map on the left shows some of the important places in the North of Germany. The large dotted line is a country border and Denmark is not a state of Germany, unlike Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommen and the City-State Hamburg.
I stayed with my host family in a local holiday spot called Plön, barely known outside of (North)Germany. This is the city with the bold text about halfway between Kiel and Lübeck, the latter of which is a very beautiful old Hansestadt. For more information, you might want to read my diary entries from this period.
